The Baggies bid farewell to new England boss Roy Hodgson with a strong performance that deserved a much better result against Arsenal, whose 3-2 victory saw them ensure Champions League football next season. Two cracking goals by Shane Long and Graham Dorrans should have been enough to secure victory but three poor errors from Fulop gave Arsenall the points. Read more here.

Five Star Baggies Inflict Four Goa Rout on Black Cats
After the Wo1ve5 demolition job, the Baggies players looked to get their home form back up and running in the best possible fashion with a sublime win over Sunderland on a balmy Black Country day. Peter Odemwingie followed up his hat-trick at the Custard Bowl with a brace, James Morrison put in another superb effort and got a crucial goal in the first half while Keith Andrews looks like becoming an Irish Baggies favorite with a magnificent finish to round off a fantastic display. Poor Baggies Home Form Continues
It was another disappointing day at the Hawthorns as Swansea deservedly took the spoils against a lethargic West Brom side. Read more here.
Tchoyi Strike Earns Spoils At the Cottage
A trip to a cold South London, saw website co-ordinator witness a unique Premier League experience in the neutral end at Craven Cottage. The atmosphere was lively but the game took a while to spark in life with substitute Somen Tchoyi grabbing a cooly taken equaliser following Clint Dempsey's opener. Read more here.
Canaries Spoil Young Cian's Birthday Present on First Visit to Hawthorns
Can you remember what you wanted for your ninth birthday? A Scaletrex, a subbuteo set, a playstation 3. Well for young Cian Larkin, his wish was granted as he, a young fanatical Baggie and his father (a Liverpool fan but we try not hold that against him) embarked on the pilgrimage over the Irish Sea to the sacred Shrine that is the Hawthorns. Despite Norwich spoiling the party with a 2-1 victory, the bug has taken another one of us, as Cian has proven to have quickly got up to speed with the many ups and downs of being a Baggie. No Hassle in Newcastle as St Pete Inspires Baggies to Victory
A magnificent display from Peter Odemwingie inspired the Baggies to a pulsating and nerve-wrecking 3-2 win at St James' Park. Joy, relief and jubilation were the emotions as the final whistle finally went as the Baggies managed to hold onto the lead at the third time of asking. While our website co-ordinator was fortunate enough to be at the game, he appears to be applying for a job with the Daily Telegraph with his lengthy review. If you want to read it (some pictures from the heavens included) click here.
For the short version - Peter is a God, the Baggies will cut fifteen years off your life - but we still love them.

PENALTY BAGS LIVERPOOL SIMPLE VICTORY
A controversial penalty for Liverpool in the first ten minutes, made their trip to the Hawthorns a hell of a lot easier. But the Baggies can't be all just looking at the referee, as with 80 minutes of play left and a bouncing Shrine behind them, they rarely managed to put their opponents under much pressure with an Andy Carroll goal securing a 2-0 win for Liverpool.Read more here.

BLACK COUNTRY IS OURS
Another high noon showdown against the Dingles in a sun soaked rocking Hawthorns saw the Baggies deservedly claim the spoils with three Irishmen; Gareth McAuley, Chris Brunt and the tireless Shane Long playing pivotal roles. There was sme shocking behaviour as a couple literally took the piss on the pitch (maybe replicating their £6m centre-back from earlier). Maybe we could return the favour by sending a truckload of dung to the Custard Bowl - well maybe no one will know the difference. Boing Boing. Read more here.
TALE OF A BAGGIE CURSED BY THE GOALLESS DRAW
Something that has not really been associated with the Baggies over the last couple of seasons has been the scoreless draw. But Baggie fan Anthony Coghlan has another tale, as his visit to the Hawthorns for the stalemate against Fulham recollected memories of his first ever match watching his heros in the blue and white stripes. SHANE LONG VOTED AS MOST INFLUENTIAL IRISH BAGGIE
Well the polling has finished and after two goals in his opening two games, Shane Long was undeniably the winner of the poll with 90% of votes saying that the Tipp man will have the biggest impact on the Baggies season compared to his two Republic of Ireland team mates. While Long hasn;t netted since Chelsea, he has shown enough quality. Stephen Reid wrapped up the other 10% of votes, having been a vital part in the improved defence while unsurprisngly, Simon Cox, who has been used as a substitute didn't garner a vote, though he should still be a vital impact off the bench.
